I'd like prayer for my children and myself please. I'm single father with custody unfortunately alot has gone on and we are struggling. I am Currently on a job but won't get paid til next week. I need to find a side job or something fast, I need gas money ey to get back and forth and also money for rent 225.00. If anyone has any work that needs to be done I'd be grateful tbx.

I was interested to see if your church had any ministries or programs to help the unemployed. I work for a staffing company and we are currently seeking good people looking for employment. We are in Chattanooga but offer jobs all over Hamilton county and beyond. We have been in business over 20 years and we are a Christian owned company. Covid has hit a lot of businesses and many people are unemployment. We would like to reach out to those people to avail our services to them. There is not cost to the applicants. We are looking for good people.

Just wanted to thank you folks for your online Sunday School lessons. Our small church here in Texas has been closed due to COVID-19 since March of this year. Using ZOOM, just worshiped with the congregation of First Baptist Church,E 8th street, and heard a powerful teaching by Dr. Ladd, from 2Kings 7:3-11, titled "Lessons from Lepers". Such a joy to hear a sermon purely from the Word, no political intonations or inuendos. "God, when He pleases, makes the stoutest heart to tremble; and for those who will not fear God, He can MAKE THEM FEAR, at the shaking of a leaf (or the diagnosis of Covid19). Natural humanity, and fear of punishment or eradication are powerful checks on the selfishness of the ungodly. They tend to preserve order and kindness in the world; BUT THEY WHO HAVE FOUND THE UNSEARCHABLE RICHES OF FAITH IN CHRIST WILL NOT DELAY TO REPORT THEIR GOOD TIDINGS TO OTHERS. From love of Him, not from selfishness, they will gladly share their earthly good things, their gifts(and talents), and their faith with their brothers, who then will no longer fear."
